Our firm was founded in 1974 by Frank Pompo. At that time, the practice consisted of himself and his secretary. His office was located in the historic University Building located on East Washington Street in downtown Syracuse, where our office remains today. Frank built his practice from the ground up by developing strong relationships with his clients and employees alike. Under his leadership, the practice grew steadily. In 1980, his son James joined the firm, eventually becoming his partner in 1988.
Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, the firm continued to enjoy steady growth. Frank passed away in 1998; however, his strong work ethic and dedication live on throughout our company and continue to be our founding principles.
Today the firm is led by his son, James, his grandson, Jim, and Ross Emmi. We are proud of our standing as a third generation company. Our staff consists of experienced accountants, bookkeepers, and payroll processing professionals. It is our experience, expertise, and dedication of our staff that allow us to serve our clients whether you’re a sole proprietor just starting a business or a well-established, complex organization. We have built over 40 years worth of relationships in the Syracuse community and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
